Online marketing research has proven that’s it’s never been easier for people to share how they feel about your business.
In real estate it’s location, location, location. In online marketing it’s reputation, reputation, reputation. And some other factors too. But your online reputation is a huge and driving force in whether or not people will give you their business. There are four R’s in a basic online marketing framework and the first one is Reputation. It’s the first level because it’s more important than ever.
When you are looking for something you need, a product or service, and you don’t know where to go, what’s the first thing you do?
You probably Google it.
And how do you decide which business to turn to? It’s likely you check online reviews and ratings. Yep. So do most people, so it’s likely that they’re doing the same when searching for the product or service you provide. That’s why your online marketing campaign needs to focus on reputation first. It’s easier than ever before for customers to share how they feel about every aspect of your business including your product or service, quality, location, service, and even the decor and cleanliness and definitely your staff and your employees. And with Internet access available to basically everyone who spends any money on anything, that’s a pretty big deal.
So what do you do? You work your online marketing in such a way that reputation is a key and integral component. Because it is. You need your online reputation to be such that people want to come and give you their business. Because if it’s not, they won’t.
